Music for Rectangles captures 10 years of Chase Bliss. It’s a collection of twenty-two songs made between 2015 and 2025 that were used to score different Chase Bliss advertisements, animations, and video series. Each one is meant to be its own little world, squished into one or two minute’s time, with the most important idea being that the effects pedals used help to decide the direction of the music. These ‘rectangles’ are active contributors in the creation of the spaces we explore and boldly forge a path into the dark thicket we find ourselves gazing upon here within this tape. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.
